READING THE BOOK OF First Chronicles CHAPTER Eighteen.
He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought him tribute. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went. (1 Chronicles 18:6 NIV)
Secrets to give us victory
-
Trust in God and NO in human power. – After defeating Hadadezer destroys almost all cars and draft horses hamstrung. This unusual act of war supplies undone, showing absolute confidence that David had in God. Every day we should say with the prophet: ‘Not by might, nor by might, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6), so we will learn to trust the power of God and not in the manpower.
-
MANAGE WITH JUSTICE. After securing peace on the borders, not only Israel David ruled as king, but as a judge. Leads his people with justice, it denotes the quality of making JUDGMENT (mishpat), without prejudice or preference. God protect us from falling into acts of injustice that harm people and affecting the testimony that we give as God’s children.
- MANAGE righteously. – This Hebrew word (sedaqah), expresses the quality of being honest, blameless and upright. Furthermore, in verses 15 to 17 is highlighted that David was not alone in the failure of the trials mentioned a list of people who collaborate to David in the administration of justice. If we want to have permanent victories, prepare employees who are God-fearing and to avoid even the appearance of evil.
Prayer.
God of the impossible. You granted victories WELL AS David, also beseech thee to obtain for us VICTORIES in the spiritual, professional, family, social and all campaigns TOUCH THAT LIVE IN THIS WORLD. BY JESUS AMEN
