READING THE BOOK OF First Chronicles CHAPTER Twentytwo.

Our favorite verse in 1 Chronicles Chapter 22 is:

Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. (1 Chronicles 22:13 NIV)

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  • First tip: The basis for success in all areas of life is: to obey God’s laws. – As the  creator specifies the laws or rules that must be respected for His creation to lasts longer. Likewise, God, our creator, has identified laws that must be respected to live happy and to enjoy a better quality of life.
  • Second tip: be strong and courageous.–  One needs to be strong, with a measure of stubbornness to meet goals, be resolved to conquer dreams and strive to pursue the divine promises, and finally, put aside everything that may prevent you from achieving success. To be courageous requires alertness, physically and mentally, to face all kinds of obstacles that arise.

  • Third tip: Do not be afraid or discouraged.- To master every fear, we can repeat the words of the psalmist: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for Thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalm 23: 4). Even when one is demoralized, discouraged and failures comes into our lives, we must trust this biblical promise: ” He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ( Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV).

Prayer.

Gracious Father. We want to be successful, permanently success, therefore, we pray that these three tips that David gave to Solomon, will be fulfilled in our lives, and to rise up like eagles to reach the eternal heights of your kingdom, when you return to take us home. In the name of Jesus, Amen
