READING THE BOOK OF FIRST KINGS CHAPTER SEVENTEEN.

God wants to talk to us and lead us into a path of success and blessings, He wishes that we may listen His vice and trust Him.

Our favorite verse in 1 Kings Chapter 17 is:

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’” ( 1Kings 17:14 NIV)

Lesson

For great problems, God has marvelous solutions.
  • To help the northern kingdom (Israel) to return to the path of salvation, God sent prophets to admonish and show them the will of God for their lives. Let us enjoy the prophetic ministry of Elijah.
  • God can provide we ask of Him in the less conventional way. We should not ask for the way we want Him to solve our problem, just ask God to work in our lives.
  • Let us renew our commitment to accept what the prophets and prophetesses have been told us about the events of this world.

Our pray.

Dear God, we ask for an increase in our faith and trust to accept that you can use the most unconventional means to help us. We thank you for the prophets and prophecies that help you to understand that You are in control of the universe. Amen
