READING THE BOOK OF SECOND KINGS CHAPTER NINETEEN.

God is ready to answer our prayer and give us the victory you are asking for. Israel realized this only after they had lost almost everything, but was was ready to forgive and give them success. How much do we have to endure before we talk to God and trust in His perfect will?

Our favorite verse in 2 Kings Chapter 19 is:

Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God.” (2 Kings 19:19 NIV)

Lesson

Learn a good model of player (Read verses 15-19)
  • First part: Remember that we are talking to the creator of the universe, for that reason, we start our prayers honoring the name of God. To mention some of their attributes and make the 4 living creatures and the 24 elders ( Revelation 19:4).
  • Second part: Be specific in your requests and talk to God as to a friend. Tell what worries you, frightens you, or the specific need you have, mention names, places and circumstances.
  • Third part: Give thanks for God’s reply, mention things that God has done for you. We need to give the Almighty God, who is pleased to help their children who cry out for help, the praise honor and glory for what He has done in our lives.

Immediately God answered Hezekiah’s earnest prayer.

    Prayer.

Almighty God, Creator of the whole universe, we praise your name. We ask that you may increase our faith and learn to rely only on your word. Thank you for reminding us and giving us the certainty that the final events are controlled by you. May you power and guide may be with us forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
