God knows best. The trials, and the temptation that attach us daily are a prove of God guide and love for us. He is ready to give us victory if we trust in His guide.

Our verse of reference in Nehemiah 4 is:

But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.” (Nehemiah 4:20 NIV).

Reflection

Why does God allows our trials?

Historical Commentary.- Even those who want to see the work of God prosper weaken God’s servants by listening, spreading or believing the lies or threats spoken against them. Satan often enjoys amazing success though his agents, and the help of all those who yield to their influence. The devil’s skim prompts to disunity and destroys the wisdom of the wisest and the understanding of the most prudent servant of God. Like Nehemiah The children of God should not fear nor despise or hate their enemies. We should cement our trust in God and go forward firmly, complete our work with dedication and deliver the result by putting all difficulties in God’s hands. Nehemiah put his trust in God, and made Him his shield and armor. This assures us that God protection is with His people and He is ready to give us encourage  in every crisis God’s children can confidently declare: “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31. PR 476.

To depend more on God.- God allows trials to occur in all areas of our life, He looks after us and wait for us to seek His divine direction and support. Tests that have no human solution, strengthen our faith and give us absolute confidence that God is able to help us. When we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, remember these words: However great the attack of Satan and his agents may be, God is victorious and his power can sustain us. Our answer by faith should be the same given by Nehemiah: “Our God will fight for us,” because God is in charge of the work and no one can prevent us from reaching the ultimate success if we are with God. PR 476.

To work wisely.- Trials awaken our understanding, God enlightens and guide us to find successful alternatives. God bring forward initiatives in us to keep the faith and don’t give up our work. He opens the doors to new businesses, institutions, or touches the hearts of people so we can have food every day and we can supply all our needs.

Prayer

God of wonders. Thanks for the trials that you allow into our lives. May they bring us closer to the throne of your grace and make us more dependent on you. Help us find solution for our problems, nothing is impossible for you, we put everything in your hands. In the name of Jesus, amen.
